Geek Bar Pulse X 25K vs. Digiflavor BRK: Which One is Better?

A comparison between the Geek Bar Pulse X 25K and Digiflavor BRK, showcasing two disposable vape products with different features.
David Lin|

Geek Bar disposables are among the most popular options in the market, and DigiFlavor? Definitely not as popular as Geek Bar, but the real ones know the brand delivers top-notch vape products that check many boxes.

The Geek Bar Pulse X is certainly a market-leading disposable sold in multiple flavors; it’s really fancy, yet powerful, and delivers smooth hits. On the other hand, the DigiFlavor BRK appears as a more advanced disposable with a detachable battery and pod units, allowing users to switch flavors while still using the same battery.

Both the Geek Bar Pulse X and DigiFlavor BRK look a lot similar in design, however, they’ve got quite many differences—from the build to the tank size and performance. Here is a detailed comparison of the two trendiest disposable vapes in the market right now.

Display style

Curved corners and smoothened edges

Dual modes support

Airflow vent

First off, both the Geek Bar Pulse X and Digiflavor BRK look a lot similar in appearance; 3D-curved display screen, smoothened corners and edges, and a bite-friendly mouthpiece. Both devices also have an airflow slider located in the same place, with a USB-C port sitting next to the slider. Also, these devices are draw-activated—although there is a physical button on the Digiflavpr BRK, which works for mode selection and battery control.

On the curved display screen found on both devices, that of the Geek Bar Pulse X appears bigger; however, on both, the display shows the same information in fairly the same manner. Also, the display shows preset animations that light up with each puff make—pretty captivating stuff to add some spice to your vaping experience.

The major difference between these disposable vapes is that the DigiFlavor BRK 20k has detachable components, while the Geek Bar Pulse X doesn’t. You can detach the pod from the battery on BRK and have the battery charged separately while still vaping with the pod unit, which actually has a 200mAh built-in battery. Yeah, 200mL is pretty small, which is why it has a battery pack, so when you’re out on the pod’s battery, you can attach the battery pack and continue vaping.

Now, the Geek Bar Pulse X doesn’t feature a detachable battery, it simply integrates an 850mAh rechargeable battery. On the Geek Bar Pulse X, the Pulse mode switch button is the airflow slider, but on the Digiflavor BRK, there’s actually a dedicated button for mode switches. Well, interestingly, the Geek Bar Pulse X offers a bigger 18mL tank prefilled with your favorite e-juice, while the Digiflavor BRK comes with a small 12mL tank—in many flavors too.

Why is the Geek Bar Pulse X 25000 So Popular?

The Pulse X hit the market and became a bestseller in a short while, and some dudes are really like, “Why are these vapes popular?” Well, Geek Bar as a disposable vape brand has established itself as a reliable vape manufacturer producing vape products that cater to all vapers at all levels: beginners, intermediate, and veterans. Also, the brand’s products are competitively affordable, while providing powerful performance and rich taste.

Coming to the Pulse X disposable, the design sold it off, and the introduction of a unique “Fcuking FAB” flavor got many vapers curious that they just wanted to hit the flavor and see how it delivered. Also, the patented dual mesh coil delivers smooth hits and burns the e-liquid just good enough for a rich aftertaste. While all these factors exist, Geek Bar also did massive marketing for the Pulse X and got a number of vape influencers talking about the vape. These are really some of the reasons for the popularity of Geek Bar Pulse X.

Is Digiflavor the Same as Geek Bar Vape?

Not really, but Digiflavor does have an active collaborative contract with Geek Bar, hence, most DigiFlavor vapes are sold with the addition of Geek Bar branding to the names. Apparently, Digiflavor is a Geek Bar brand, and Geek Bar is owned by Geekvape, which is the overall parent company. You can view Geek Bar and  Digiflavor as sister brands—not the same. Each brand makes its own products its own way, but mainly, Digiflavor collaborates with Geek Brand for most of its high-end models.

The Digiflavor BRK 20000 vape, while a product of the Digiflavor brand, was built in collaboration with Geek Bar, thus, it mimicked the Geek Bar Pulse X in so many ways. Of course, Digiflavor has a good number of vape products that were totally built from scratch, independent of Geek Bar's partnership. Digiflavor flavors deliver smooth hits and rich taste but are not always available in way too many flavor varieties as with standard Geek Bar vapes.

Who Makes Digiflavor Vapes?

It is commonly viewed by most vapers that Geek Bar makes Digiflavor vapes, but this is not entirely true. The two brands are sister brands and are closely related—although Digiflavor collaborates with Geek Bar to often produce vape devices under the "Geek Bar Digiflavor" branding. But, the actual truth is that Geek Bar is owned by Shenzhen Geekvape Technology Co., Ltd (commonly shortened as Geekvape) and Digiflavor is a branded product of Geek Bar’s R&D team—the same team behind the patented VPU technology on Geek Bar disposables vapes.

How to Charge a Digiflavor Disposable Vape?

It depends on which of the units you want to charge. The Digiflavor BRK comes as a 2-unit disposable, a battery pack, and a pod unit. Each of these has a built-in rechargeable battery, but while one charge externally, the other can only be charged by the battery pack.

In essence, the 200mAh battery on the pod unit recharges only when you attach the pod to the battery pack; so, it charges from the charge on the battery unit. On the other hand, the battery unit charges externally, which means you have to plug it into an external power source to charge it when it’s down.

Put simply, to fully charge your Digiflavor disposable vape, first, you need to charge the battery pack, then attach it to the pod to charge the battery in the pod unit; of course, you can charge the battery pack while the main device is charging too.

How To Switch Vaping Modes on Geek Bar Pulse X 25k and Digiflavor BRK 20k

On the Geek Bar Pulse X, locate the airflow slider underneath the device and look out for which side of the slider is labeled “Pulse.” To switch up your Geek Bar Pulse X to “Pulse” mode, you have to move the airflow slider to the side labeled as such; if the slider is not moved to the Pulse label area, then you’re vaping on “Norm” mode, which uses around 18W power—the Pulse mode uses 24W power.

On the Digiflavor BRK 20000, things are a bit different; there is a dedicated button for mode switches; this button is located underneath the battery unit, just beside the charging port. To switch between vaping modes you have to press the button once. Pressing the button five times will turn the battery on or off.

Conclusion

Conclusively, both the Geek Bar Pulse X and DigiFlavor BRK deliver almost the same performance, but the Pulse X lasts longer, thanks to the bigger e-liquid tank. Also, the Pulse X offers more flavor choices to pick from. On the other hand, the flexibility of the DigiFlavor BRK is top-notch—allowing users to only purchase pod units after they have already owned a battery pack from their initial kit purchase.
